Hello Everyone!
Have you got Spring Fever as bad as I do? I've been planting my heirloom and organic seeds in anticipation of getting outside to start our raised beds and square foot gardens to put them into. This Cincinnati weather, however, is very strange....one day it's in the 50's, the next day it could be 20. So even though you may be tempted soon to place your plants outside..remember that our Frost Free date is April 15th. (and realistically, we say wait until Mother's Day!)
While exploring the Garden Girl TV site, I came across this link explaining how to appropriately plant a strawberry pot. I thought it would be a great project this time of year for those who want to get their hands in the dirt and get a head start on their garden. You can fill it with herbs, annuals, succulents, or perennials. Just keep in mind where you will place it outside so that you choose the right plants for the right sun exposure. When the weather does break, it will be a great focal point for your landscape. Enjoy!
